After Dusk
Card Game Character Design
After Dusk is a collaborative card design project inspired by dark fantasy themes and character-driven world-building. Designed as part of a larger collection of illustrated cards, the project focuses on creating visually distinctive characters that support narrative, atmosphere, and gameplay.
My role centered on the design of the antagonist characters. Through visual development, costume exploration, and character iteration, I sought to create villains that embody authority, danger, and intrigue while maintaining clear and memorable silhouettes. The design process emphasized storytelling through visual details, allowing each character to communicate their role, motivations, and presence within the world of After Dusk.
This project strengthened my understanding of character-driven design and demonstrated how visual development can be used to build engaging fantasy worlds and memorable cast members.
